We Are Planning A Huge Fundraising Season for 2008!

The Mickaela Foundation surpassed the 100 treatment fund goal set for 2007, unfortunately that also has all but depleted our funds. We have seen some lean times, but we will do what we have to do to make sure we can helpall who need us! We are averaging 10 -15 applications per month so far for 2008, so we are on a mission!

The Mickaela Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing treatment funds for uninsured breast cancer patients in Colorado.

We Need Your Help!

The Mickaela Foundation is currently seeking In-kind donations and volunteers for several upcoming events! Please contact Mary if you would like to Volunteer or Martine if your company can Sponsor an event. If you are another local support agency, please contact us and we'll add your events to our Calendar as well.

Join The Mickaela Foundation Board of Directors

The Mickaela Foundation is looking for a few special people to help us make a difference on our Board of Directors for 2006 Diz, Becky, Mary, Martine, Lu and Joyce. (Not shown: Danielle) We are searching for a few good men and women to come and help us make a difference in the lives of uninsured breast cancer patients throughout Colorado.

It is not hard work, but we do ask for a 10 hour per month time commitment.

The requirements are:

a passion for the cause
a willingness and ability to help plan, implement and work fundraisers
a fun and festive nature, that allows you to work and play well with others
Bi-lingual would be very helpful as well! (not a requirement though)

We are not your typical breast cancer organization, we are a mellow and non-political group. We avoid drama, and are all solution-oriented people that are committed to helping the uninsured in our community.
